iStick TC 40w 2600mah Kit
from Eleaf brand is absolutely the classic. In fact, the Eleaf iStick TC 40W kit seems to be what the brand needed to become the top in the vaping world.
The saying that “you get what you pay for” does have some truth to it, but the iStick 40 W shows that it doesn’t mean you can’t get a solid kit for an excellent price. If you’re looking for a great TC vape, you could undoubtedly do better elsewhere, but once you get it set up, it’s definitely passable
I have owned a few Eleaf
products and have nothing but great luck with them so I want to share this statement of my Eleaf iStick TC 40W kit review.
The iStick TC 40W comes in a neat and sturdy cardboard box. The top layer holds the mod. There’s another cut-out, which holds a GS Tank if you ordered the kit. Lift out the foam and there’s a 510 adapter, USB charging cable and a small instruction manual. The first thing you’ll notice about the kit itself is that it’s small.
There’s one 18650 battery in there, and Eleaf have pulled off some neat design to fit that and the components into such a compact device. The case is rounded down the back, and also the screen and buttons are behind a smoked plastic panel in the front.
It fits comfortably in the hand, and is small enough as a useful stealth vape as well. Eleaf have also paid attention to details. The TC40W has a steel connector.
There are airflow slots cut into the top deck for atomizers that draw in through the connector, and two more slots so you can attach a lanyard. The screen is clear and the buttons are nicely clicky.
Overall it feels like a well-made piece of kit, especially for the adorable price.
The iStick 40W iStick has a couple of main features–the temperature control and the variable wattage–along with resistance checking (to two decimal places), plenty of safety features, the ability to vape while it’s charging and a few little extras.
It supports resistances of as low as 0.15ohms in wattage mode and 0.05ohms in temperature control mode, making it well-suited to re-buildables or sub-ohm tanks.
There is also a “stealth” mode, where the screen doesn’t light up when you press fire , which you activate or deactivate by holding the fire and down buttons while the device is on. You can also lock the adjustment buttons by holding them both down for five seconds, so you can’t accidentally change your settings. Finally, you can rotate the screen by holding down the adjustment buttons like this when the device is off, to make it easy to customize to suit how you hold the mod.
It has an excellent range of features overall. It does everything you need it to (and more), and has plenty of capability for most vapers’ needs. It could have benefited from a simple menu system for the extra features , but everything is still easy enough to find your way around.
The Eleaf iStick 40W TC Kit is one that I have really seemed to fall in love with.
I really appreciate the fact that it is temperature controlled for my personal vaping preference. I like to have a consistent vape and knowing that I am never going to get a hot hit is something that keeps me in temperature control mode all of the time. I also love the added safety of this mode and that it really makes creating my own vaping experience easier.
Additionally I like the size of this mod and the OLED screen. I love that the OLED screen is easy to read and that I do not struggle with being able to figure out what it is saying. I also love that it is comfortable in my hand and that I can easily carry it around for all day long vaping.
All in all the 40W TC kit is one that I will continue to recommend to friends and family while using it. I am sure that it is going to be a well loved kit in my collection and one that I will choose above others.
